Time was, enjoying good music involved a fair amount of work and dedication - namely the sourcing of the recordings. Audio streaming completely removes this task which, while sometimes a labor of love, quickly turns to frustration when a beloved piece of music cannot be found.

With the Stereo S, all you need to do is open the freeRaumfeld App for iOS and Android mobile devices, select your music source and favourite track and enjoy. It’s that simple to find and enjoy the music you want to hear when and where you want to hear it.

And digital does not mean reduced sound quality. Thanks to the high-end audio components built into every single Raumfeld speaker, you’ll enjoy highly detailed and balanced tone with a superb stereo image and rich bass.

Additional devices like an amplifier are also completely unnecessary with the Stereo S. That’s because a WLAN receiver and stereo amplifier are integrated into the enclosure of the master speaker (the loudspeaker with the volume regulator). In addition, USB storage devices and other signal sources like CD players and record players (with a phono preamplifier) can be connected to the Stereo M.

Professional audio components make the difference

Both loudspeakers work in a 2-way arrangement within a bass reflex enclosure. A 20 mm tweeter and a 100 mm bass driver produce an impressive high-resolution sound. The integrated digital amplifier and the digital analogue converter from Cirrus Logic were perfectly configured for the Stereo M. This enables the streaming stereo pair to produce a big, balance sound from such small enclosures.

Because the Stereo S is a Raumfeld product, it’s compatible with all other Raumfeld streaming speakers. This makes it possible to build a complete streaming system that’s centrally controlled via the free Raumfeld App.
